Dear Daddy,
We're so glad you had a successful business trip this week...but we're really thankful that you will be home tonight. Really. Really. Thankful.
Please hurry...your child's happiness...and, well...your wife's sanity depend on it. We'll leave the light on for you!! :-)

Oh, that is the saddest little face EVER!! Hurry home, Daddy!
Oh hurry Daddy.... hurry. If that face doesn't make you want to come home, nothing will. So sweet.
Would be funny to see what mommy's face looks like at this point..;)
:)

I hope he doesn't get caught speeding after that heart-tugging post...
Sorry it has been a trying week.
I love ya lots my friend,
Lis
Even when she is looking a bit sad or sulky- your Lia is such a cutie pie. I can't get over her.
I always come to your blog to get a pick me up. I love your photography and your darling little subject.
Sometimes a girl just needs her Dad, doesn't she! And a Mom just needs a break! Hope you and Lia both get a little break when Dad gets home. Perhaps it is time for "Mom Spa day!" Have fun!
Janet
She will have her Daddy wrapped around her little finger with a face like that.....how could you resist!!
Hope he made it home safely!
Have a great night!
Lisa

Stumbled across your blog from another site. I am waiting for my own Lia, so love the name of your blog! Your daughter is precious. :)
Oh my goodness, I laughed out loud at this post!!Her little forlorn face coupled with your humor-filled interpretation of why daddy should get home quickly just tickled me!!
Hope Daddy makes it home safe and sound:)
Love,
Heather
I'm sure it was hard having Jim gone all week. I hate it when Dan gets home from work late. Lia looks like she misses her Daddy.
Have a GREAT weekend!
Jen
She looks so pitifully gorgeous! And I agree that it would have been fun to see Mommy's face, too, after a week flying solo. Well, maybe you looked all together, but I would have caused quite a few chuckles if it were me (you know - bald head from pulling out my hair, coffee cup super-glued to my hand, frozen smile in place, the usual). Hope the homecoming was wonderful!
Beautiful daughter & photos. I stumbled across your blog & saw your pics from Longwood Gardens - we must live nearby. We also have a three-year-old little one from China (she'll be 4 yrs in a few months).
So.... Hello!
Oh yeah, I forgot to add...
I got the biggest chuckle out of your post about meeting a fellow blogger - so true. I met (a now dear friend) Stephanie from 'Forks and Chopsticks' a few years back and had those exact feelings (including the hoping she wasn't a lunatic man disguising as a fellow mom bit). I should've brought mace just in case. Too funny.
little girls sure love their daddys! Nothing quite as sweet as a daddy/daughter relationship! Have a great weekend!
Hope Daddy made it home okay! Love the cute picture!
How funny! Lia looks like she needs her Daddy :)
We experience those looks quite a bit here when our "daddy" is gone to work :)
