The pettiskirt bug has bitten...
I have been drooling over pettiskirts for some time. Every time I saw a blog with pettiskirt goodness...or a photo on Flickr...I thought that I would have to get one...or two for Lia. She is a girly girl to the core and is most happy dancing through life in some sort of Princess finery. And just as I suspected, Lia was thrilled when that box arrived at our front door this week.
So despite the somewhat wet and dreary conditions here in the Northeast...we just had to give our first petti a photographic test drive this morning...

She looks so cute in her pettiskirt! I love it! Paige has a couple of them that she plays dress up in. I'll send them to you when she grows out of them, so you can let Lia enjoy them.

Lia is adorable in her pettiskirt. The hot pink just pops from the pictures and looks so good on her. I just love hte combo of pettiskirt and rainboots. The picture of Lia running away is just gorgeous!
Oh I love it! Too bad we couldn't use one here - we tend to stay in our PJs all day long lol! (I am sure you can tell from our photos we post.)

Oh, I am having petticoat envy. I am like you, I have loved seeing pics of them all over blogland - yours included! Lia is so cute in hers. And I love the rain boots with it. How cute!!

Oh these are so beautifuI. I have admired them for a long time too but I know they are heavy and I wonder if Kate would even let me put it on her. SHe is SO particular! So pretty!
