As I was doing a little more picture organizing, I came across this picture and had a little fun with editing!
We have been busy tonight...Jim flies out tomorrow morning and heads to Omaha (shout out to my Nebraska friends and you know who you are...sorry that's not in legalize!!). He will be in Michigan by Tuesday morning...and will then frantically attempt to make his way home in time to escort Lia to a pumpkin decorating extravaganza at her school Thursday evening.
We have a few fun events planned for our girl's weekend...but I have a mission in mind also. I saw the cutest Christmas cards ever...and they require a picture of Lia's sweet little feet. I have been thinking about how to get the best shot...but I have to tell you...I am a little intimidated! I see so many darling shots of hands and feet...but they give me trouble! Should she be sitting? Standing? Running? Walking? Crossed or uncrossed? Toenails painted or not?? And I could go on. And bore you all to tears!!
I will welcome all advice...and if you've gotten a really great "Piggie Shot"...share your link! We all love a little photographic inspiration!

The best piggies shot that I ever saw was one of two brothers (one about four, one a teenager), lying in bed, tangled in pajamas and sheets, with their feet snuggled up with one another. You could only see from the shins down.
I like TM's idea. I was also going to ask if you need to shoot the top of her feet, or if it could be of the bottom? I really like the bottom of kids feet. See here for example: (http://borninourheart.blogspot.com/2008/08/whatcha-dodododo-doing.html). Not that it's the best shot or anything, but just trying to throw an idea out there. No matter what you choose, I'm sure it will be adorable! I hope you'll share your finished product!
Great suggestions from the other two gals. I have a picture of Paige's painted piggies in the sand at the beach. I was lying on my stomach and shot the pictue. It is framed in her bathroom along with a photo of her hands.
I can't wait to see what you come up with.
Maybe Jan and I need to meet Jim at the airport! HA HA! Wish you were coming with him!
I think polished piggies would be very cute. However, I have no idea how to shoot them!
Can't wait to see what you come up with.....I am sure whatever you do, it will be beautiful!
I agree, I think laying down, or feet propped up...painted piggies would be adorable!!
Good Luck!
Kate, how about feet in the grass?? Maybe her sitting down and kind of spreading her toes? Just a thought. :) Another idea that came to mind was taking a picture of her feet dangling. Have her sit up on something (outside would be best) with her bare feet hanging down, and take a pic of just her feet. It would be cute if they were crossed, kind of one behind the other. :)

Omg - I am just catching up on blogs and I love feet images! I am going to send you one of my favorites - it is a hard shot to do - need a wide aperture and a window - it is a tippy toe image. I have tons and tons of feet images so - if you still want so ideas - let me know :D
Ladybug hugs,
;D
