The final ascent...

It's true. We have had one very long year of waiting for the big "5" to roll around. We have had endless discussions about the fabulosity of all things birthday and I do not feel one bit bad to say I am going to be almost as glad as Lia to see that oft talked about grand, best day of all arrive on Tuesday. We warmed up tonight with a little Nana and Papa love before they hit the road for home on Monday, but Jim and I were reminded several times that it was not her real birthday...so we will keep our game faces on until we crash into bed exhausted on Tuesday. I hope we get some good sleep that night, because I fear "6 anticipation" may be lurking just around the corner...

:-)

ps...fabulosity came up as mispelled...did I coin that word??? I have been so so jealous ever since Beyonce got "bootylicious" into the dictionary...

P.S. Great word - fabuloscity (not sure if I spelled that right), but still love it!

My daughter is only 3, but she constantly asks who's birthday is it. What can I say? I love celebrating my own and I even make note of 1/2 birthdays, too. I'm so glad Lia is looking forward to hers.

Can you tell me how to contact the Pixel Fairy? Is she still doing classes?

Oh, I know just what you mean! Ella was on the edge of her chair waiting for Birthday #5 for as long as I can remember. I kept telling her "stop rushing things"!

She has been the big 5 now for about 2 weeks and I have not heard any "6" talk, yet. We'll see...: )

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIA! Wow! Our girls are growing up too fast. =(

Thank you for the sweet blog comment. We are already in love with Sarah Martin and we are just itching to get to China asap. How are you holding up with this wait? I got to the point of being mad instead of just sad with each passing month. Hang in there. =)

Merry Christmas!
