A few more pictures from Saturday...

Lia was not really in the picture taking mood on Saturday like her cousin Willow was...but I did steal a few...

Can you read sweet Willow's mind?.....hurrry up and take the shot and get me away from this crazy kid with the nonsensical knock knock jokes asap...

Hi Kate! These are adorable. I love Lia's bold pink colored dress next to Willow's softer color- very pretty. So funny that Lia was not in the mood. She looks like she was in model mode to me!

You asked about Taiwan. As you know- we came home with M Jan 08 and we were a 12-05 LID. The wait is just unabearable (yes worth it) but I just felt like I did not have it in me to wait so long again. We reasearched Taiwan and luckily our agency has one of the few opperating programs. The wait for a boy is about 1 year total (although unlike China- lots of variables and you must first be preapproved by Taiwan). The wait for a girl is closer to 2 and 1/2. There are more boys available for placement than girls and more families requesting girls. So we requested a boy. It seemed to feel right.
Kate- we could not have dreamed that the wait would grow so long. I do not think you could have done any better research. I imagine that you are aching for your baby and an end in sight. I will say that the longer wait to our second was the best thing that could have happened to our family. Our big girl at 4 loved China and is a great big sister. I am so thankful that I had that time with G. Lia is going to be amazing. Hang in there. I only wish I were logged in to China. My heart breaks that we will be completing our family elsewhere and I am hoping to come to peace with it.
Hugs and hoping for a speed up.
