A fond farewell...

* Update Below!

Then followed that beautiful season...summer. Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light and the landscape lay as if new, created in all the freshness of childhood. ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

...and what a magical summer we had! These pictures are from today...our last little photo shoot before heading back to school tomorrow. The days have been sweet...some of the sweetest of my life. I will hold them dear forever, aided no doubt, by the nearly 1000 photos I have taken over the past three months! And so...with that...we bid sweet summer good-bye...and turn our attention to a new season filled with new possibilities!

Update: Okay....this is the difference between a beginner and a professional. The Pixel Fairy Princess worked some of her Pixel Fairy Magic on this photo...and well, obviously...I am thrilled. Add to that the fact that Debbie will be PHOTOGRAPHING Lia in a few weeks...and I am in photograph heaven (yes...photograph heaven really exists...I know because I am there at this very moment!)! Take a minute and do yourselves a big favor and check out some of Debbie's work if you haven't already. She's a genius, I tell you. Genius! And she has some pretty darn stinkin' cute subjects of her own to work with! Thank you, Debbie...I love it!

*Sigh* A fond farewell indeed! Some of the sweetest for us as well...I know newness and opportunities abound (blah, blah) - he he, just wish we could bottle them and keep them little:)

Beautiful pictures of lovely Lia, I think she will miss the mamarazzi as much as you will miss the daily sessions;)

Blessings for a wonderful fall.
Love,
Heather

The Tongginator started school today. Sigh. I thought I was SO ready for it. I felt myself going stir crazy this past week. But one hour into my "break" and all I could think was, "I miss summer and my little girl."

I know you've had so much fun with your girl this summer and I'm sorry it has to end. It has been awesome looking at the beautiful shots you've captured...

I know a new season is around the corner and I'm certain it will render new opportunities, new memories, and new photo ops.

Love you and hope back to school was good for both...

Wow- that is really a neat edit of a your photo. Love the dramatic contrast to the original. But I always fall in love with your photos. I like the bright red chair and the beautiful way Lia's skin shines in your original.

Love learning new tricks- can't wait to see your friend's pictures of Lia.
