Here Comes the Sun

Yesterday afternoon we closed on the sale of our condo. The couple that bought it were so excited. I did have to cover my ears at one point when they mentioned that they would be turning my beloved nursery, my favorite room in all the land...Lia's first room, INTO A YANKEES ROOM for their three year old son. Ouch. :-)

We are so happy to have just one residence to concentrate on now! Our first project...Lia's BIG GIRL ROOM!! She is very insistent about a princess theme. We are still in early negotiations and I think she will be pleased with what I have planned! Let the fun begin...and the sun start shining!

Thank you all for your kind comments regarding our tough week. I appreciate all of the prayers, concern and good wishes. It is a huge comfort to know that you are all lifting up my grandmother and my friend.

Congrats on the sale. I am sorry they will be changing the nursery--I know that has to be hard.

I am VERY sorry to read about your grandma and friend. I will pray for them both. Also, I am so sorry about the domestic adotpion. I feel really bad for the sadness you've experienced this week.

So glad the condo is sold and complete. I know you will come up with something wonderful for Lia and Shae, too. :o)

Glad you can see the sun coming.

Love,
Lisa

Hi Kate! Congratulations on the sale of your condo.

I too am so sorry to hear about your hard week. I will be praying for your grandmother and friend. I had quite the scare with cancer last Fall and I believe in the power of prayer. We serve a big God who still performs miracles. :)

Hey you got an extra buyer you could throw my way?! We've got a condo we've been trying to sell for a year! Ugh.... I'm hoping our market takes a turn for the better and soon...

Congrats on your sale though!

Uggg.. In our first house the people who bought it were going to turn my beautiful red dining room with its antique crystal chandelier and 15 foot celings into a "Coca-Cola" room. Sigh...

I am also very sorry to hear about your g'ma and friend. My g'father was dx with lung cancer and elected not to have any chemo. Yes, he will not be around much longer but he enjoys being able to see the princesses and play with them without feeling the effects of high dose chemo. You can see pics of our last visit with them on my blog!
