I have been having a lot of fun practicing with my new camera lens that Jim gave me for Christmas. Officially it is a 75-300 mm lens...but what really matters to me is that I can take close-ups of Lia without being right in her face. Of course the weather in our neck of the woods has not been very cooperative...so my practice has mostly been inside...not the best for this lens. Undeterred, I have flipped the switch back into automatic and have become a shooting fool. These are a few pictures I took over the past few days. Lia was in the living room. And I was in the dining room. Yeah...you read that right...a whole room away. Almost unobtrusive. Ahhh....the possibilities are endless. I can't wait for some sunny weather and wide open spaces!

These are great and I am so glad that you feel like a "real" mamarazzi - you always were in my book :D
Ladybug hugs,
;D
Love that lens! Isn't it great not to be in their face? Now you can stalk her without her being SO aware : ) Paige never knows half the time when I am taking her pic...I just act like I am playing with my camera.
That Lia has the sweetest little face and a perfect little set of pouty lips. I just love her!
Would love to have that lens myself! But honestly...does she take a bad picture ever? You have the most lovely subject to shoot!
Hugs~
You ARE the Mammaeazzi and oyu rock! These are great!!!!

Great lens....and GREAT PHOTOS!! Now you can take pics of little Lia when she is least expecting it....those are always the best shots:)
This weather is very yucky....isn't it?? The schools up here were closed today!!
Holy cow! Those pictures are fabulous! You really are the mamarazzi now! Enjoy your new lens!
How fun. Those photos are great! I like the comment about pretending to just play with your camera so you can get some shots...I will try that. : )
Lia really is super photogenic!

Looks like an amazing lens...love these shot of Lia..she's such a beauty:)
Great pictures! That must really be a great lens -the pictures are so light for being so zoomed!
Have fun withthe lens.
Great shots!
The lens is great!
I bet you can't wait to get outside. The weather has been so crappy around here!

P.S.
I have to type "heerewat" Isn't that funny??? I think of you now everytime I type in one of these comment words.
Wow...how amazing that you were able to get such close up pics that far away. I am sure my girls would LOVE for me to have a lens like that, so I would keep my camera away from them. lol!
Beautiful pics of your sweet girl!!
And yes...the weather has been just plain yucky lately!!!!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
Great pics! We too have a lens like that and it does make a difference in not always being in their face! Our weather is horrendous here, way too much snow, ice, and freezing temps. There's no way we'll get outside for outdoor shots for months! It does challenge you to work on those indoor shots though... :)
Great lens. Can't wait to see more. It's sunny today!! could there be more shots from outside??? hmmmmmmmmmm
